This is really nice.
first the.... pros, I suppose they'd be called-
This is very well done, I especially love the movement of this greyhound, I can see him running. the drawing of the creature is very good however, in my oppinion, he doesn't seem to fit into the background, first, I think it would look better if you blured the background a bit with a motion blur, maybe added a texture to the sand, also, the foot that is touching the ground I think should have some sand pushed up behind it, because it's pushing the sand, and maybe even some bit of sand being kicked up by the other hind foot.
I just think this would help tie it into the background, relatively easily.
Other wise- really great picture.
